この季節になると、ドイツ語を始めた頃に習った「春は扉の前に立っている。（＝Fruehling steht vor der Tuer）」という言い回しを思い出します。皆さんいかがお過ごしですか。
今回はパリからのレポート第2弾。バスティーユの街角で見つけた「The Lazy Dog（ぐうたらの犬）」をご紹介します。パリの路地から焼き立てのクレープとともに、新鮮でホットな話題をどうぞ！
パリで偶然見つけた「ぐうたらの犬」
前回ご紹介した「Les Trois Ourses」から歩いて5分ほどのところに「The Lazy Dog」ギャラリーはあります。バスティーユ（Bastille）界隈、メトロ（地下鉄）「Ledru Rollin駅」より徒歩3分の場所です。

ショーウィンドウから店内を覗いてみると、どうもベルリンっぽい匂いが！と、早速立ち寄ってみると、そこは世界中から集められたホットなサブカルチャーの専門店兼ギャラリーでした。
オーベイ・ジャイアント（Obey Giant）といった今ではすっかり定番となったストリートアーティストのコレクションから、アンディー・ウォーホル（Andy Warhol）やチャーリー・ハーパー（Charley Harper）といった渋めの大御所のずっしりと重い画集まで、整然と並んでいます
その他にも現在、世界中の街で元気に活躍しているデザイナーやストリートアーティスト・、タイポグラファー等のコレクションも豊富で、棚には日本の出版社の本も多く販売されています。まだベルリンでは見たことのなかったグッズや洗練されつくした豪華本がズラリと並び、さすがパリ…と溜息が止まりません。
